These are channel set Swarovski thingies. I'm going to make an anklet out of them. I am going to make an anklet of the pretty topaz ones I have so prominently displayed amongst the lesser colors you see there.
Lesser until I want to use them for something else, anyway. At 69¢ a pop for the six millimeter ones, needing 20 to make sure I have enough for my own anklet (knowing I will have extras), it may be a while before I can afford to make necklaces out of them - 69¢ each is not a lot of money when making an anklet, but I'd need several hundred thousand to make necklaces and still have enough left over to run through my fingers late at night and gloat over when everyone else has gone to sleep. I'd do this in the secret room under the stairs where I keep my stolen Picassos.
I'm absolutely manic about Swarovski and adorning myself, my children and stray indigents with them (feeling, as I do, that indigence can be a fabulous fashion statement with a little bling). I'm especially zonky about the vintage, discontinued colors and finishes. I want a bunch of the elusive Mink color that was discontinued long ago. Six millimeter rounds will probably cost me $30 for two of them, if I can find them at all. And Grape, the only really purple Swarovski ever made.
You're probably pretty bored with this, right about now.
Too bad. Go read someone else's journal. This is my journal and I want to wax ridiculous about things I can barely afford but buy anyway, ok?
Well, now you've ruined it for me. Now I don't feel like talking about it anymore. Thanks a lot.
