Yesterday was my birthday. I got stuff, got older, got to spend the evening in the ER with the middle girl, who is doing much better today, thank you.
I bought an unfinished shelf to finish. It seemed like a good idea at the time. So did flat white spray paint. Now I have to go out and buy plain old, brush on glossy white paint to go over the flat white spray paint which did not cover the primer (even after repeated coats), and the stinky spray paints left me with a days long headache.
Speaking of headaches, guess what? A combination of aspirin, acetaminophen and caffeine does more to stop a headache than prescription triptans (Imitrex, Maxalt, etc). My older girl and I could have told you that. She showed me months ago that Excedrin was working better for her migraines than Imitrex and for those headaches which are persistent, a combo of Excedrin and Imitrex worked better than the triptan alone. That's what killed the spray paint headache, by the way, so don't let them tell you a triptan will only work if you take it at the beginning of a headache.
That's very good news for people who have counted on triptans alone, pills which cost ten to twenty bucks each.
