I'm so bloody frustrated right now. I want to cry and throw things. More specifically, I want to throw one thing.

Ask me why I'm using the old computer. Go ahead, ask me. Because at roughly 11 am this morning, the new Dell coughed politely, asked if I had any spare change, then pulled out a bottle of pills and swallowed them all. I tried pumping its stomach but it's still in ICU. I spent hours on the phone with its doctors in India, reminding them that we paid for pretty hefty insurance so money was no object when it came to saving this life, but leave it to an HMO to objectify you fast.

The upshot is that my new computer is bootable, but is doing very weird things. Their suggestion is to re-install Windows, which means I lose an awful lot of irreplaceable stuff. Stuff I should not have had to think twice about backing up on a brand new machine. I'll start fresh in the morning. Maybe we'll lay hands on it and burn candles for it or sacrifice a virgin to it.

I made a whole bunch of themes for the coming holiday. Here are the first four. I would give you the rest but, ahem, they reside on a machine which currently refuses to speak to me.
