My oldest girl has discovered my camera. There was this pic and two videos of her telling us all it was three in the morning, she was still awake and she was bored. Same kid called me from Universal Studios last night, breathless and excited, to tell me that she had just been chased by a guy with a chainsaw.
"A real chainsaw," I asked?
"Yeah!" she answered.
"Was it running?" I asked.
"Yes!! Mom, it was so cool and I was so scared! And a vampire bit my neck! It was awesome!"
Universal Studios is running their annual Halloween Horror Nights thing after hours. My kid loves gruesome, ghouly, bloody things and she was so happy I was going to let her go that she cried. Funny kid.
My middle girl is at the mall with friends watching a movie. This will be the first time I have let her ride in a car with a teenage driver. What are you gonna do, right? My baby girl will be eighteen in a few days and the other girl already is, and we've known her for roughly ten years.
And my son - well, we're trying to get him to wear something other than cotton shorts or sweat pants. The fabric sensitivity is an autism thing. I let it go to this point, but he's at an age where he needs to look a little sharper so I am on a quest for casual pants of a softer fabric than blue jeans. I'll keep you posted, because I know that you will be on the edge of your seat until you hear what happened.
